Teen Pregnancy and High School Dropout: What Communities are Doing to Address These Issues

This report from National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy and America’s Promise Alliance highlights ways that schools and other organizations can work together to prevent teen pregnancies and help teen parents complete their high school education. Examples of successful strategies, such as from The Prevention Research Center and Harris County Schools in Texas and Health Research Association and Los Angeles Unified School District, are highlighted. The report recommends strengthening the relationship between individual schools, school districts and education agencies, health departments, and community organizations to address the link between teen pregnancy and high school dropouts.
