The CCRS Partners Council consists of leading practitioners, researchers, and senior staff from key national education organizations and foundations that are committed to collaborating with and supporting the work of the new CCRS Center as lead and affiliate partners.

Lead Partners

The American Institutes for Research (AIR) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that focuses on conducting and applying the best behavioral and social science research and evaluation towards improving peoples’ lives, with a special emphasis on the disadvantaged. AIR also houses the Center on Great Teachers and Leaders, the Midwest and Great Lakes Regional Comprehensive Centers, and REL Midwest.

AYPF is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to broaden the awareness and understanding of policymakers and to strengthen the youth policymaking process by bridging policy, practice, and research. They work to identify the most pertinent high-quality information on youth issues and provide a forum for prominent leaders in government, programming, and research, as well as the youth themselves, to share their viewpoints and expertise about the policies and practices that improve outcomes for all youth.

Affiliate Partners

The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) is a nonpartisan, nationwide, nonprofit organization of public officials who head departments of elementary and secondary education in the states, the District of Columbia, the Department of Defense Education Activity, and five U.S. extra-state jurisdictions. CCSSO leads and facilitates collective state action to transform the public education system in the four strategic areas of Educator Workforce; Information Systems and Research; Next Generation Learners; and Standards, Assessment, and Accountability.
