Back to School: How Parent Involvement Affects Student Achievement

This report from the Center for Public Education examined the research behind the idea that parent involvement can make a difference in a child’s education. The report found that creating a partnership between parents and schools that is focused on academics has significant impact on student achievement in terms of higher grades and test scores, credits earned, attendance, and likelihood of graduation.
