Tracing Transitions: The Effect of High School Closure on Displaced Students

This study investigates the academic performance and experiences of Latino and African American high school students who changed schools due to school closure. Findings indicated that these students generally experienced added stressors, negative emotions, and a decline in academic performance when transferring to a new school when compared to two comparison groups.
