Successful School Restructuring

This report from the Center on Organization and Restructuring of Schools analyzes research on successful school restructuring based on four large-scale studies. According to this analysis, restructuring efforts must focus on changes that directly address the quality of student learning. The authors identify four key factors that characterize successful school restructuring: student learning, authentic pedagogy, school organizational capacity, and external support for student learning and organizational capacity.
