Reading Proficiency and Mathematics Problem Solving by High School English Language Learners

This study examined the relationship between math performance and English proficiency for a sample of 9th grade students. Findings showed a positive association between English proficiency and English language learners' (ELLs) math achievement and perception of their math ability.
