This report, part of the Accelerating Student Success Through Credit-Based Transition Programs study initiated by the U.S. Department of Education Office of Vocational and Adult Education, highlights promising practices for implementing credit-based transition programs and also addresses some challenges these programs may face when trying to include noncollege-bound students. The report also presents case studies undertaken in five states and presents findings around four program features--student recruitment and selection processes, curriculum, support services, and data collection and use.
