This report from the Editorial Projects in Education Research Center, a supplement to Education Week’s 2008 edition of Quality Counts, evaluates the success of the 50 states and the District of Columbia to improve their citizens’ lives through education. Using six indicators, the report offers a grade for each state, as well as an overall grade for the nation (C+).
