Keeping Pace with K-12 Online Learning: A Review of State-level Policy and Practice

This report by the North Central Educational Regional Laboratory discusses state policies and practices for online learning. The author examines state policies, or lack of policies, and the programs which are being created with or without policies. The report provides recommendations that include following the example of a few states who have made strong policies around online learning, educating policy-makers about online learning, and conducting more research about effective practices of online learning programs.
