Analyzing Performance by Hispanic High School Students on the Massachusetts State Assessment

This study examined Hispanic high school students’ performance on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) tests in English language arts and mathematics. Tenth-grade Hispanic students scored significantly lower on the MCAS English language arts and mathematics tests than did non-Hispanic students.
