Work-Based Learning: Promoting a Well-Rounded Education for All Students

Work-based learning is a key element in the successful implementation of career pathways and the development of career readiness for students. Effective work-based learning also increases student exposure to various industries and assists in developing skills that are needed for the 21st century workforce. Perkins Act, there is an opportunity for states and districts to leverage resources and align their efforts to support various work-based learning models. During this webinar, participants will:

  • Explore various work-based learning models and characteristics of effective work-based learning;
  • Learn about the state role in supporting work-based learning;
  • Hear from a successful work-based learning partnership; and
  • Learn about resources to support work-based learning in states and districts.
